Google recently created this ad, featuring Jacob’s story of finding a safe space for his gender transition. This ad is touching, featuring footage of Jacob’s transition as he shared his story on YouTube.
Although this is an advertisement for Google and the City Gym, this video is a sign that Google thinks of itself as part of a community and wishes to make safe spaces for all those who would join it. What do you think of this ad? Corporate pandering or heartwarming story?
