In Battlefield 4 – the maps are going to vary from close-knit Infantry maps-to-large maps with a lot open space and vehicles. There are 10 Maps in Battlefield 4, and 7 of those 10 maps will be used for the Mulitplayer missions, too!

  • Battlefield 4 Seige of Shaghai Map – Mulitplayer map that will feature an Urban area for this mission. It is set in the city of Shanghai. Most of Battlefield 4 Shanghai will feature and focus on infantry combat in the city, there will be a lot of heavy and light vehicles within the map.
  • Battlefield 4 Paracel Storm Map – Mulitplayer map that takes place in South China Sea. This mission and map is going to focus strictly on Sea and Air combat. You’re going to get numerous jets, boats, and helicopters. Weather will also be a major factor – like a Tropical Storm.
  • Battlefield 4 Operation Locker Map – This Battlefield 4 mission will have a heavy mix of infantry and vehicle missions with the map. A lot of the action will take place in the large complex. So the fighting will be intense. And Battlefield 4 Operation Locket Map will be different than most maps because snow will be covering a lot of the area.
  • Battlefield 4 Flood Zone Map – Battlefield 4 Flood Zone Map is for multiplayer game mode of Battlefield 4. The main focus is to destroy a dam/levy. The map will start-out regularly, and then change into a naval combat map–where the entire map will be covered in water. Destroy the levy anytime you want in the mission.
  • Battlefield 4 Golmud Railway Map – Battlefield 4 Golmud Railway is a vehicle heavy focus map. You’re going to get tnaks, jets, APCs, and Helicopters. Capture points will be spread-out with open fields–where mountains hang-over.
  • Battlefield 4 Dawn Breaker Map – Battlefield 4 Dawnbreaker Map is a multiplayer map that with be in a major city. The mission will take place at Dawn, so this Battlefield 4 map will be much darker than some of the other maps.
  • Battlefield 4 Hainan Resort – Battlefield 4 Hainan Resort map will be set in a tropical area. This map and mission will be more focused on infantry. You will see oil tankers burning, and most of the map will be focused on the Island–where the resort and hotel are located.
  • Battlefield 4 Lancang Dam Map – Battlefield 4 Lancang Dam is mulitplayer based map. In this map, users will get a mix of vehicle and infantry combat, as well as some Navy-type combat. Control points will be in a “U” shape. Most of the Combat will be centered around the control points, which are close to the dam.
  • Battlefield 4 Rogue Transmission Map – Battlefield 4 Rogue Transmission map is a Battlefield 4 Mulitiplayer Map. In this map, you will be allowed to fight on-top of a satellite dish and under it, too. The Conquest mode will be located under the large dish.
  • Battlefield 4 Zavod 311 Map – The final Battlefield 4 Mulitplayer map; however, this one will be set in Russia. You will be in a Tank factory, where you will be fighting in vehicles and on-foot. In this map, users can bring down a big chimney with a Warhead. You will notice that the Conquest is the factory, where some intense fighting will take place.

When playing Battlefield 4 Mulitplayer Game Mode, players will receive awards, XP Bonusses, other unique items for Battlefield 4, and some show-off items. Here are the following awards you can receive for Battlefield 4 Awards.

Battle Packs Throughout the course of your time playing in Battlefield 4 Multiplayer mode, you will get Battlepacks. They will contain new Dog-Tags, Camos, knives, XP boots, and much more. They give you personal options for your player. To earn it you will have to progress in Battlefield 4 Multiplayer. To do this you must get your rank-up and progress in weapons. There are four different Battlepacks in Battlefield 4 – Bronze for rank 3, the rest are awarde for rank 5, rank 7, and rank 10+.
Ribbons In Battlefield 4, you will be awarded Ribbons after completing a task successfully in the game. You can up to several different Ribbons in just one match. You may even earn the same Ribbon multiple times. When you’ve earned enough Ribbons, you will be given a Medal, as well as XP Bonus points.

Dog-Tags Battlefield 4 will give Dog-Tags for all players in Battlefield 4 Mulitplayers. Left and Right Dog-Tag both represent something different. The Left – Show casing your Country’s flag, rank, or clan. The Right – How much you have achieved i.e. kills with a weapon, or certain length of time with a kit. If you killed a player with a Knife Melee Attack, you will claim the Dog-Tags of the Solider you’ve killed, and keep them for yourself.
Service Stars These are awarded to players who play a lot of time with a specific weapon or kit. These are better than Ribbons and Medals. There are 130 unique Service Stars to earn. You can earn each one 100 times.

Single-player Dog Tag Locationsbattlefield4dogtags

Below are the locations of every dog tag in the single player campaign of Battlefield 4:

Baku

Nice Play: At the beginning of the tutorial look for a bulletin board after the first door on your right. The dog tag will be stuck the bulletin board with a knife.

One Way Trip: Near the courtyard, before you drop down into the room containing the first gadget cache, instead head over the hole and the dog tag will be in the shutters of the center window.

Sergeant Dunn: Once the building collapses and you have to amputate Dunn’s leg, you will find the dog tag in the crashed helicopter’s copilot seat.

Shanghai

One Man Riot: From the beginning of the mission, head right down the alley, then left to a door with a red light. The dog tag should be attached to the door.

Going Up: Above the elevator once you have reached the lobby of the hotel.

Business Casual: Once the tank sequence has finished, the dog tag will be located on a gate behind a tree at the back of the alley.

South China Sea

Carcharodon: From the beginning of the mission, head down the hallway. Look for two men near a red light at the end of the hall. Before them there is a room on the right, the dog tag will be on a top bunk bed.

Lord Of The Waves: Once you and your squad surface in a room after looking for the G-46, look for a green light. The dog tag is behind a brown pillar on the left.

Agent Kovic: Once Hannah is rescued, everyone will go to the upper deck. Head outside and to the right to the crashed helicopter. The dog tag will be in the copilot’s seat.

Singapore

Horizontal Rain: From the beginning of the mission, look for a white boat on the left. The dog tag will be near the boat on the beach.

Armored Column: Behind the bar with red stools in the club where you get into a fight.

The Grounded Dog: In the hangar with a large white and blue plane, get the to door of the plane from the left wing. The dog tag will be on the door.

Kunlun Mountains

Cage Fighter: After meeting back up with Irish, look for the holding cells in the room to the right. The dog tag will be in the last cell.

Freedom At Any Cost: In the room where you cover Dima, use the cat walk to walk along the left wall. The dog tag will be pinned to a broken electrical box with a knife.

Shaw-Shanked Redemption: Before taking the tram down, head underneath the platform and to the edge. The dog tag should be sticking out if you look over and towards the middle.

Tashgar

The Destruction Enthusiast: In the park, near the bridge, look for a blue truck in front of a building. Destroy the truck, then look inside for the dog tag.

Upstream Swimmer: Once you have destroyed the enemy helicopter, ascend the yellow ladder on the left to the top of the building. You must jump to the black construction scaffolding to find the dog tag.

Suez

The Rebel: While on the flight deck, look for the white plane on the left. Get up on the right wing, the dog tag should be towards the back of the plane.

Fleet Guardian: Inside the infirmary of the Valkyrie, check the beds in the medbay behind the second set of curtains. The dog tag will be on one of the beds.

 

Multiplayer Levolution Events

Here are all the Levolution events that can be triggered during multiplayer matches as well as how to trigger them:
Dawnbreaker

To destroy the bridge you must find two valves underneath the central avenue. Turn them to increase the pipe pressure.

Flood Zone

To destroy the levee you must use explosives on the large crack. This will flood the streets, making certain areas inaccessible while opening up others.

Golmud Railway

Situated around the map are IED’s which can be exploded by using your own explosives or accessing their control consoles.

Hainan Resort

Rogue Transmission

You can destroy the receiver of the dish by eliminating the cables that hold it. This will end vehicle spawns.

Siege of Shanghai

You can cause the skyscraper to collapse by destroying it’s support structures with explosives. You can also raise lower the bridges near the tower.

Zavod 311

You can detonate the warhead by accessing the timer, which will contaminate the area with radiation and make it inaccessible to vehicles.

How to Use Squads in Battle Field 4:

In most of the Battlefield 4 game modes, you will be allowed to spawn Squads at their base, on an objective, or at one of the main Squad mates. Doing this will work to your team’s advantage–when trying to reach an objective and not having to go far distances.

Field Upgrades with Battlefield 4 Squads:

Field Upgrades in Battlefield 4 is a new customization for Squads; it typically involves the all around Squad play.One each path it will unlock from level 1-to-level 4. You will perform Squad actions like repairs, healing, and following various orders.

But one your entire squad has been killed, you will lose some progress you’ve made.

In playable kits – Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon you will have four different career upgrades to choose from. And two of them can be used with any kit. One will focus on Offense, and the other will focus on Defence. With Field Upgrades, you can choose a new path any time you want on the battlefield, as well as other Kit choices. Changing upgrades, squads, or kits will never affect your current progress level.

How to be a Battlefield 4 Squad Leader:

For every Squad in Battlefield, there will be one Squad Leader. The Battlefield 4 Squad Leader will make decisions for their entire Squad. These decisions will include attacking, defending, and other objectives. You can use the spot menu to mark various objectives that must be attacked or defended. Each objective will be marked Green. Squad players that hang around that mark will receive additional points.

Squad Leaders are also responsible for the Commanders. When a Commander is doing poorly, Squad Leaders can vote as a team to kick-out the Commander.

Battlefield 4’s newest mode – Spectator Mode – well..it’s been a long time coming! Many Battlefield & Battlefield 4 addicts are excited to try the new Battlefield 4 Spectator Mode. Here is everything you need to know about the new Battlefield 4 Spectator Mode!

In Battlefield 4’s Spectator Mode, players will be able to join servers. Select the “Spectator Join” option.

In Spectator Mode, you will be allowed to jump from various players. Choose from – table-top view, first-person view, third-person view, and free came view. Just so you know – the free cam allows you to look around the map by using a controller or mouse–rather than being tied to a player within the game.

But if you want to join in and fight, you will have to leave Spectator Mode.

Battlefield 4 is bringing back its Commander Mode. And this time users will be able to play Commander Mode on a tablet–while still being connected to a server, or on any other platform.

In Battlefield 4’s Commander Mode, a user will be able to see their team’s performance, as well as guide them through each match. Commanders can also provide their team with certain assets.

Battlefield 4 Game Modes to Play as a Commander:

  • Conquest
  • Obliteration
  • Rush
  • Squad Deathmatch

How to become a Commander in Battlefield 4:

In order to become a Commander in Battlefield 4, you have to reach a Rank 10 in Battlefield 4 Mulitplayer Mode. Once you have reached that rank, select the “Commander Join” option. Commanders will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Two commanders are the Max. allowed for a match.

Team Vote for Battlefield 4 Commander:

If your team doesn’t like the commander in charge, Squad Leaders will be able to vote them out. Once a commander reaches a certain threshold, team players will be informed and a timer will appear on Squad Leaders and Commander’s screen. A Commander will be able to see who has voted against them, and will have time to win back their leadership in 2 minutes. Squad Leaders can change their minds at anytime.

Rules to Being a Good Commander in Battlefield 4:

  • Gathering Intel: Let the team know where the enemies and their vehicles are. When an enemy reaches a kill-streak of 6, a Commander can highlight them as high value target. If a teammate kills that (HVT), the person who kills them will receive a bonus, and so will the Commander. But remember, if the (HVT) target gets kills while being highlighted, they they will receive bonuses.
  • Supplies: Make sure you team is always filled up with ammo and different vehicle drops.
  • Strong-Offense Attack: Shooting Tomahawk missiles and other types of gunship strikes to help your team out!

Conquest:

Battlefield’s Mulitplayer Mode – Conquest has a 24 player game design for Xbox, and a 64 player design for PS3, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In Conquest for Battlefield 4, there will be several flags setup around each map for mulitplayers. Both teams will be fighting for control of these flags. It will take 20 seconds to neutralize a flag if it has been caught by the enemy. It will also take an additional 20 seconds to capture the flag. But the more players that are near the flag, the faster you can capture it. The entire team will then be spawned, and use vehicles related to the objective.

In Conquest, enemy players may go slow or reverse progress on their capturing the flag, but only depending on what the ratio is of friendly to enemy players is; however, if an equal number of players on both teams are near the capture zone, the flag will not be captured regardless.

A team may bleed another team’s tickets, but only if a team has captured the majority of bases on the map. You must capture more than half the flags. The first team that flushes out all the other team’s tickets wins the game/round.

Rush

In Battlefield 4’s “Rush” multiplayer game mode, you will start out with MCOM stations, which are setup on the map for one team to defend and destroy. It’s also important to note that in Rush, you will be playing in a number of different “zones” that will be split up on the map; this is where most of the fighting will take place.

The defending team must protects various stations and destroy all the other team’s re-spawn tickets. The idea is to plant a charge at each MCOM; it will take 25 second for it to explode. Defenders must defuse the device before the MCOM is gone. Once both MCOM stations are destroyed, the team that is attacking will move up and their tickets will be replenished. You can usually find new vehicles and areas at each MCOM stations.

Game will end once the attacking team has destroyed all the MCOM stations, or has flushed out all the attacking team’s tickets. Remember, a team’s tickets will reduce for each time a player has re-spawned.

Obliteration

In this Battlefield 4 mulitplayer game mode, 24 players can play on Xbox 360 and PS3, and 32 players can participate
on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For “Obliteration,” both teams will be fighting for the bomb. You’re going to take it to the opposite team’s objectives. You’re going to detonate the bomb at all three opponent’s objectives.

The first team to destroy all three of the other team’s objectives (within the time-limit given) will win the game.

Defuse

For Battlefield 4’s mulitplayer game mode “Defuse,” there will only be 10 players used for all platforms. Both teams must defend their objective, and at the same time try to destroy their opponent’s. To destroy the opponent, arm and detonate an explosive.

However, each player will have ONLY one single life per round. BUT, if you have the Assault Kit, players can revive their comrades; this will only be allowed once.

Whoever eliminates all the players from one team first will be the winner. You can also win “Defuse” by destroying the opposite team’s objectives.

Domination

In the Battlefield 4 mulitplayer game mode, “Domination,” 20 people will be allowed to participate on all platforms. Players will find that this mission is not much different than “Conquest,” except that it is a smaller team version.

Again,. several different flags will be setup around each map. Each team will be fighting for control of these flags. It will take 6-seconds to neutralize a flag. It will also take another 2 seconds to capture a flag. The more players that are around the flag make it faster for you to catch it.

Which ever team flushes out the other teams flags will win. Also, Tickets will be reduced for every time a player re-spawns. In addition, tickets will also flush out if a team does not control as many flags as their opponent.

Team Deathmatch

In Battlefield 4′ “Team Deatmatch” mulitplayer game mode, 20 players will be allowed to play on any platform. In “Deathmatch,” two different teams will fight to the death. The first team to get a set number of kills wins the game. If you revive players it will not reduce the amount of kills a team has, or the score.

Squad Deathmatch

For this Battlefield 4, “Squad Deathmatch” mulitplayer game mode, 16 players from all platforms will be allowed to participate. Four different squads will face off and fight until the death. The first squad that reach a set number of kills wins the match.
