Like many game shows, Wheel of Fortune is one that is so heavily based on luck that even if you fail miserably, you can’t really put the entire blame on yourself. That is unless you are this guy Julian from Indiana University, of course.
Julian is what I would call the most fortunate failure that Wheel of Fortune has ever seen. After first spinning the wheel to land on the million dollar slot and guessing every letter to the phrase “Mythological Hero Achilles,” Julian seems more than ready to read the phrase aloud, collect his winnings, go home, and spend the rest of his day counting cash.
But there is one catch. Julian has never heard the legendary name “Achilles” uttered out loud in his life, and because of this, he has no idea how to properly pronounce the short “A.”
Or the hard “Ch.”
Or the long “E.”
Instead, Julian says “Achilles” with a – well, just watch the video below and you will see for yourself. Oh – Julian’s failure doesn’t stop at the “Achilles” puzzle, either. Has anyone ever heard of an “On The Spot Dicespin?”
I know I haven’t.
