Battlefield 4 is bringing back its Commander Mode. And this time users will be able to play Commander Mode on a tablet–while still being connected to a server, or on any other platform.
In Battlefield 4’s Commander Mode, a user will be able to see their team’s performance, as well as guide them through each match. Commanders can also provide their team with certain assets.
Battlefield 4 Game Modes to Play as a Commander:
- Conquest
- Obliteration
- Rush
- Squad Deathmatch
How to become a Commander in Battlefield 4:
In order to become a Commander in Battlefield 4, you have to reach a Rank 10 in Battlefield 4 Mulitplayer Mode. Once you have reached that rank, select the “Commander Join” option. Commanders will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Two commanders are the Max. allowed for a match.
Team Vote for Battlefield 4 Commander:
If your team doesn’t like the commander in charge, Squad Leaders will be able to vote them out. Once a commander reaches a certain threshold, team players will be informed and a timer will appear on Squad Leaders and Commander’s screen. A Commander will be able to see who has voted against them, and will have time to win back their leadership in 2 minutes. Squad Leaders can change their minds at anytime.
Rules to Being a Good Commander in Battlefield 4:
- Gathering Intel: Let the team know where the enemies and their vehicles are. When an enemy reaches a kill-streak of 6, a Commander can highlight them as high value target. If a teammate kills that (HVT), the person who kills them will receive a bonus, and so will the Commander. But remember, if the (HVT) target gets kills while being highlighted, they they will receive bonuses.
- Supplies: Make sure you team is always filled up with ammo and different vehicle drops.
- Strong-Offense Attack: Shooting Tomahawk missiles and other types of gunship strikes to help your team out!
