We see it all the time…people breakup with significant others, and a status goes up. Someone is feeling hard times in life, school, personal/family issues, and a status goes up. Something is bothering you, we get it. And you just feel the need to put a status for the whole world to know you have a “problem.” We’ve all done it at one point or another.
But can we maybe change it up a bit? Seeing the same quotes and sayings gets old after awhile—and you start to find flaws with them, too!

And if after reading this you decide to go look for other ‘motivating/philosophical’ quotes, do not replace your original ones with Drake or Bruno Mars lines; those are just as overused and repugnant as your last “insightful” quote for a status.
No a “girl” (don’t you mean “Woman”?) should be more than just 2 things. How about generous? Beautiful? Kind-hearted? Smart? Sophisticated? Independent? It’s hard to define anyone (Man or Woman) with just 2 words, and while those two words are great qualities to have, there are others that are much more appealing than those two!
That’s not true. The best things life happen because they are earned. It’s rare that if you sit around and let “life just happen” that anything will happen at all–well at least nothing positive. You have to get up and make things ‘happen.’ That’s the only way you’ll be able to experience life and get the best out of it.
Quoting Britney Spears is never a good idea…but author aside, the quote explains what’s wrong with people today. Look all different sides of things! No matter how right you are, or may think you are. There always two sides to everything. Oh, hey! there’s a quote you could use in-place of this egocentric one.
Just because something or someone made you smile at one point or another, doesn’t mean you can’t and shouldn’t regret it. What if the person you were with was socially, mentally, or (hopefully not) physically abusive. I’m sure at one time or another you were smiling, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t hold regrets towards decisions you made.
We all love The Beatles! But reality is, love is NOT all you need. It’s sad that it isn’t, but nonetheless true…Love is great and nice to have, but it doesn’t pay your bills, put clothes on your back, and afford you things that make life beautiful. Searching for love or someone’s love for you is (again) NOT all you need.
Maybe your worst is just really bad, and you’re not showing enough of your “best” (whatever that means)? Try staying at your best all the time, so then that way no one has to experience your worst.

Come on…there are so many people in the world who constantly take loving and caring people for granted, and don’t equal back to the love they give back to others. Remember just because you take in other people’s love and use them and believe in this quote, does not mean you’re giving back an equal amount of love. And posting it on your Facebook as a status does not discount your strikes with people.
It’s true, difficult doesn’t mean impossible. But lets face it. There are a lot of things that are just too difficult that aren’t going to work. Where you should just cut your losses. Think about the logic and reality in situations, where you know the outcome is not have the achievement/success you want. So sometimes it’s better to go with the saying, “Quitting while you’re ahead is not the same as quitting.”
Well, some people don’t have that luxury. Otherwise people wouldn’t be working as waiters; there would be no janitors, and maids/servants. But the other point is just because you’re doing a job or chose a job you love, doesn’t mean that you won’t get frustrated at times and that you won’t have to do work you don’t want to do. Any job has their pluses and their minuses. You just gotta hope it has more pluses, or at least look for a silver lining in it. But regardless, there will always be “work” that you have to do everyday in the job you love.
Besides the fact that wasting time in a meaningless/pointless relationship wastes your time in the sense that you missed out on other people and spending time with others, it can be a MASSIVE waste of money!
