Kim-Jong-Un Has Perfected the Art of ‘Looking-At-Things’ – Just Like His Father

Kim-Jong-Un, son of former North Korean dictator, Kim-Jong-Il and current leader of North Korea has perfected the art of ‘looking-at-things’. This ‘art’ was developed by his father, Kim-Jong-Il, who was the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea from 1994 – 2011. The art of ‘looking-at-things’ is actually a form of propaganda, which is aimed at showing the world and the people of North Korea that the Supreme Leader oversees everything and has the final say on all matters concerning North Korea…including the perfection of food production (despite how over 10% of the population faces starvation and malnutrition).

These images are taken to show the world that the Supreme Leader has everything under control, though, the limited insight we have into this secretive country proves otherwise.

Let’s take a look at the progression of Supreme Leaders ‘Looking-At-Things’. As the saying goes, ‘The apple does not fall far from the tree’ and these pictures hold true to that statement.

Like Father…

Like Son…

Every Dictator must have the final say on their country’s food production…

It is quite an important matter…

When you least expect him, the Supreme Leader pops in to check on things…

His son, also the current leader, is equally concerned about the quality of food production…

Individual inspection is key to a prosperous country

Bread inspection is also an utmost necessity…especially when the bread comes out twisted. Off with her head!

The Fine Arts are Equally Important…

It is necessary to identify the best and eliminate all others

Choice of socks are apparently a national security issue

Size variation is also significant, especially in a country where the average height has decreased by 2 inches due to malnutrition

Computers can be a tricky thing…because of this, the Supreme Leader makes someone else do the heavy lifting while he observes.

They both like looking at things with sunglasses on…the effect is more dramatic

‘Great’ minds really do think look alike.
